Cal. 10.4. S# K07043. Bbl. 33 1/2". Blade front sight. Tangent rear sight graduated to 1800m. Matching numbers on stock and receiver. Italian 1870 Vetterli with Vitali mag. Left side of the bbl. has Terni marking with the 1889 date. Arsenal blue finish. Hardwood stock set with a strong 1889-dated Terni arsenal cartouche and bottom-mounted sling swivels. Cleaning rod present. CONDITION: stock has old added varnish with scattered crazing, dings, and handling wear. Metal retains 50% of its arsenal blue, with overall oxidation and scattered fading to gray. Action is sluggish but functional when hand-cycled. Bore has strong rifling but scattered oxidation and dried grease. (01-26090/MJC). ANTIQUE. $400-600.
