Cal. 32, S# 43818. Standard configuration of S&W No. 2 Army, 6" barrel, all nickel, mounted with original smooth ivory grips. Revolver was manufactured early in 1865. Revolver is accompanied by a holster add an old belt with buckle. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: file of research trying to type to John Kinney of the 27th Michigan infantry, however he died in 1864, before the manufacture of the gun, but maybe a relative. CONDITION: good to very good overall, all matching serial numbers and assembly number, about 90% original nickel or silver finish is retained on barrel and frame with freckling and some pitting on barrel lug. Ivories are well fit with one small chip at rear toe, age patina. Mechanically fine, good rifle bore. PROVENANCE: Lifelong collection of Robert "Mike" Bricker. (01-24976/JS). ANTIQUE. $700-900.
