PISTOL. CAL. 7.65mm. S# 182595. Bbl. 3". Model 1930 semi-automatic pistol mfg. by J.P. Sauer & Sohn. Top of the slide rib is marked "J.P. SAUER & SOHN, SUHL", followed by the J.P. Sauer & Sohn logo, with "CAL. 7,65" marked on the left side of the slide and "PATENT" marked on the right. Frame, slide, and slide end cap exhibit a German Crown/N commercial nitro proof. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, save for on the rear sight/takedown spring, which exhibits a nitre blue finish, as well as the bolt assembly, which is in-the-white. Frame is mounted with 2-piece checkered black plastic grips. All serialized parts are matching and include the frame, slide, and slide end cap. MAGS: one 7-rd. CONDITION: very good, with metal components retaining the majority of their original factory blue finish overall, exhibiting some areas of wear and thinning that show through to gray patina, as well as some scattered flecks of surface oxidation overall. Mirror bore, exhibiting well-defined rifling throughout. Grips are very good to excellent overall. (24-5578/MLW). CURIO. $300-500.
