Cal. 22 RF. S# 22104. Bbl. 12", round with a J. Stevens No. 50 scope and standard crosshair along with external adj. on mounts. Nickel-finished frame with checkered trigger. Two-piece walnut grips. The nickel-finished shoulder stock is renumbered to match the gun. Estimated quantity of 15,000 mfg., 1896–1915. CONDITION: forward portion of the bbl. has faded to gray, with areas of fading blue near the breech end. Action retains 70% of its nickel finish, showing wear on grip straps. Shoulder stock retains over 95% of its nickel. Stocks have a lightly worn finish, showing scratches & marks. Bore retains lightly worn rifling. The optics are cloudy. (22-5461/DS). CURIO. $700-1,100.
