SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL WITH STOCK. Cal. 9mm Luger. S# 5082b. Bbl. 6". Model 1908 Navy Luger mfg. by DWM prior to World War I for the Imperial German Kriegsmarine. Left side of the bbl. extension is marked with naval crown and Crown/M proofs, with the toggle exhibiting the intertwined "DWM" monogram. Rear grip strap exhibits a "W.K./ 108 18" Kiel Dockyard mark. Metal components exhibit what appears to be a reapplied blue finish overall. Bbl. exhibits a contemporarily reapplied blue finish. Strawed parts have been reheated at one time. Frame is mounted with 2-piece checkered wood grips. All numbers are matching, with some parts including the bbl., appearing to have been renumbered to match at one time. MAGS: 1 8-rd. mag., with contemporary wood bottom, that has been numbered to match. Pistol is also accompanied by a wood shoulder stock, which has been sanded and revarnished at tone time. Stock iron has been renumbered to match. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their blue finishes, exhibiting some spots of mild wear and thinning that show through to gray patina, as well as some scattered spots of light surface oxidation and pitting. Very bright bore, exhibiting consistent light pitting and some scattered spots of dark pitting, while retaining strong rifling throughout. Stock is very good, as sanded and refinished. (24-6902/MLW).
