Cal. 8mm Nambu. S# 27082. Mfg. February 1934. Standard markings including Koishikawa Arsenal symbol. Unusual in that lg. trigger guard models generally appeared 1939; this one 5 years early. Matching numbered strawed trigger, trigger guard, receiver, locking bolt, mag. safety & double grooved knurled cocking handle; unnumbered fully grooved grips. MAGS: 2 original 8 rd. TOTAL. Good plus (light oxidation streaks) numbered "082" above lined out "211" & very good numbered "803". UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: good to very good clam shell holster made of & resin construction w/ general faded appearance plus flap of ammo pouch beginning to delaminate. Japanese characters under lid. CONDITION: spotted finish w/ light pitting around ejection port & on sides of receiver (lighter on left) plus typical safety scratch. Very good bore (forward half has light pitting), mechanics & grips. Broken mag. friction spring on front strap; rivet & sm. section of spring remaining. (22-339/NW). CURIO. $900-1,200.
