Cal. 11.25mm (45ACP). S# 28475. Bbl. 5" w/ matching # ".475" over "N". Mfg. 1942 (S# 26461-29614) under German occupation but w/out German proofs that were done in 1945 continuing from 1942 S# to 30535. Mfg. in Norway (32,850 units) by Kongsberg Armory under license from Colt w/ unusual slide stop appearance & corresponding dbl. diamond grips of Norwegian hardwood stained dark. Basic items matching numbered except unmarked mag. release & hammer numbered .688. Sm. "JB" (Jorgen Bjornholt; final inspector) proof mark on left front of trigger guard & on right side of slide under "1942" date where 1 has 4 punch marks over it. Sm. "A" on top rear of slide. MAGS: 1 very good unmarked blued 7 rd. w/ lanyard loop. CONDITION: good to very good appearance as refinished which was common on released firearms. Slide has polished finish but frame is standard military finish that appears original as does bbl. finish. Typical high point wear & slight thinning in grip area. Good grips w/ some missing diamond tops most noticeable on right. Replacement recoil spring. Spring plug w/out finish except in checkering. No finish on firing pin retainer. Light function wear on bbl. exterior having near excellent bore. (21-3714/NW). CURIO. $1,200-1,800.
