Action is opened by pushing the front trigger forward. Ebony tipped splinter forearm & hard rubber capped pistol grip stock of nicely grained walnut w/ point pattern hand checkering. LOP: 13 3/4" over checkered hard rubber buttplate. DAC: 2 3/16". DAH: 3 3/8". Neutral cast. WEIGHT: 9 lbs, 12.4 oz. Estimated total of 8,305 mfg. in Syracuse, New York between 1878-1884. CONDITION: browned bbl. finish shows carry wear & light spotting, having an attractive Damascus pattern. Action retains small amounts of lightly visible case colors in protected areas w/ carry areas fading to gray. Stocks have light worn finish & checkering, showing scratches, marks & small dents.
