BELONGING TO HERMANN GORING. A wonderful, previously unseen archive of what appears to be the personal photographs of Hermann Goring, Chief of the German Luftwaffe in WWII. These photographic negatives, likely taken by Goring’s personal photographer, show him in many different official capacities, as well as relaxing with friends and associates. Several of his many different and unique uniforms are shown in these negatives. There are more than 80 different negatives in this archive. Many of the negatives were printed at a later time on more modern Kodak paper. A few photographs show Goring enjoying his elaborate model train set, as well as candid at-home shots with his wife and daughter. These negatives could be a goldmine for the Goring or WWII researchers. CONDITION: negatives are in good condition and could easily be used to print more images. The earlier prints have yellowed slightly but remain crisp and visually informative. (02-22464/BF). $500-750.
