BRITISH SPORTING RIFLE AMMUNITION. 162 rounds of brass cased ammunition which appears to be all head stamped "KYNOCH /577. Copper colored primers. 3" cases. 1). 50 rd. sealed carton of ten 5rd. red and yellow boxes. Labeling includes: " Metal covered solid bullet 750 Gr. strengthened coated steel bullet envelopes". Both Kynoch and Imperial Chemical Industries logos are present on label. CONDITION: the outside wrapping has light wear, scuffing and small tears. 2). 9 red and yellow 5 rd. boxes labeled "KYNOC/577/ 3" case/ NITRO EXPRESS CARTRIDGES". Loaded with 750 gr. metal covered solid bullets. The bullets are stated to have strengthened coated steel bullet envelopes. CONDITION: boxes have light handling wear, staining, taped repairs. Ammo appears clean and serviceable. 3). 4 yellow and red 5rd. boxes labeling includes "KYNOCH .577 3" case Nitro Express Cartridges:. Loaded with "METAL COVERED SOFT NOSE BULLET 750 GRS". CONDITION: boxes have moderate handling wear and scuffing. Ammo appears clean and serviceable. 4). 47 rds. of 577 cartridges packed loose in 5 two piece storage boxes. The 3" brass cases are head stamped "KYNOCH / 577". Copper colored primers. The lead round nosed bullets have a rounded copper tip. CONDITION: the ammunition has turned patina with scattered areas of verdigris but most appears serviceable.
