BELTS. Lot of primarily U.S. military holsters and belts consisting of: 1) Model 1912 M1911 holster mfg. by Rock Island Arsenal in 1911. Closure flap is embossed with "US" within an oval, with the rear of the hanger loop marked ""R.I.A./ 1911./ T.C.C." Brown leather construction with brass fittings, steel hook hanger, and drain hole at toe. Leg strap is present. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: Mills July 1918 dated 2-cell M1911 canvas web pouch and a canvas lanyard. CONDITION: Holster remains malleable, exhibiting some wear, age related cracking, as well as some scattered spots of mild crazing. Brass fittings exhibit scattered areas of verdigris. Mag. pouch and lanyard exhibit age related discoloration, but otherwise remain sturdy and serviceable. 2) Model 1916 M1911 holster mfg. by Hoyt in 1918. Closure flap is embossed with "US" within an oval, with the body marked "HOYT/ 1918/ J.J.M" beneath the closure flap. Rear of belt loop is inscribed, and appears to read "Kowalczik". Brown leather construction with brass fittings and hook hanger. Leather thong is present. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: Mills khaki canvas web belt, canvas lanyard, as well as a 2-cell khaki canvas web pouch containing 2 unmarked 2-tone M1911 mags. with lanyard loops on the pinned floorplates. CONDITION: holster remains malleable, exhibiting some wear, with mild age related cracking and scattered spots of crazing present overall. Brass fittings exhibit scattered spots of verdigris. Web belt and lanyard are very good overall. Mag. pouch exhibits wear and areas of dark discoloration, with the mfg. markings on the interior being illegible. Mags. show some wear and some scattered spots of surface oxidation. 3) Model 1916 pattern M1911 holster mfg. by Brauer Bros. Mfg. Co. Rear is marked "MADE ACCORDING TO U.S. Govt./ SPECIFICATIONS/ BRAUER BROS. MFG. CO./ ST. LOUIS MO.". Brown leather construction with brass fittings. Leather thong is present. CONDITION: holster remains malleable, exhibiting varying degrees of age related cracking and crazing overall. Brass fittings exhibit a mellow patina. 4) Model 1916 M1911 holster mfg. by Boyt in 1944. Closure flap is embossed with "US" within an oval, with "BOYT/ -44-" marked on the rear. Brown leather construction with brass fittings. CONDITION: holster remains malleable, exhibiting light to mild age related cracking and scattered spots of light crazing overall. Brass fittings exhibit areas of verdigris. 5) Model 1916 holster mfg. by Boyt in 1945. Rear is marked "BOYT/ -45-", which is mostly illegible. Black leather construction with brass "LIFT/ THE DOT" fastener and fittings. CONDITION: holster remains malleable, exhibiting wear with scattered spots of age related cracking and varying degrees of crazing present overall. Brass fittings exhibit areas of verdigris. 6) Unmarked General Officers pattern M1911 holster, with belt and additional Colt Model 1903/1908 holster. Brown leather construction with brass fittings and 2-piece Great Seal of the United States buckle. CONDITION: good, with wear, some age related cracking, and some crazing present overall. 7) M3 M1911 shoulder holster mfg. by Enger-Kress. Front is embossed with "US" within an oval, with the rear marked "U.S./ ENGER-KRESS". Brown leather construction with nonferrous metal fittings. Shoulder strap is present. CONDITION: holster remains malleable, exhibiting some wear and scattered areas of discoloration overall. 8) M3 M1911 shoulder holster mfg. by Enger-Kress. Front is embossed with "US" within an oval, with the rear marked "U.S./ ENGER-KRESS". Brown leather construction with nonferrous metal fittings. Shoulder strap is present. CONDITION: holster remains malleable, exhibiting some age related cracking on straps, with mild wear and light crazing present overall. 9) Unmarked M7 M1911 shoulder holster. Front is embossed "US" within a oval. Black leather construction with nonferrous metal fittings. CONDITION: holster remains malleable, exhibiting wear, as well as age related cracking and crazing overall. 10) .38 Caliber Colt/Smith & Wesson double action revolver holster mfg. by Rock Island Arsenal in June of 1954. Front is embossed with "US" within an oval, with "R.I.A./ MRT 6-54" on the rear. Brown leather construction with brass fittings. CONDITION: holster remains malleable, exhibiting scattered handling marks, with a few areas of mild age related cracking and crazing. 11) 38 Caliber Colt/Smith & Wesson double action revolver holster mfg. by Boyt. Front is embossed with "US" within an oval, with "BOYT" within an oval marked on the rear. Brown leather construction with brass leather fittings. CONDITION: holster remains malleable, exhibiting some wear and age related discoloration overall. 12) Swiss Model 1900 Luger holster mfg. by Joh. Blaser in 1905. Rear is stamped "JOH. BLASER/ SATTLER/ BERN/ 05", with a boxed Cross/N on the interior of the closure flap. Belt loops have been modified, with the stitching at the bottom having been replaced with brass studs, and the belt loops having been replaced with straps with slots cut for said studs. CONDITION: holster remains malleable, exhibiting some wear, with light to mild age related cracking and crazing present overall. 13) US Model 1923 OD M1 Garand cartridge belt. OD canvas construction with black painted nonferrous metal fittings. CONDITION: very good, with some age related discoloration and varying degrees of wear to the metal fittings. 14) US Model 1936 olive canvas web belt mfg. by Nasco in 1943. Olive canvas construction, with nonferrous black metal fittings. CONDITION: belt shows some age related discoloration, as well as some wear to the metal fittings, but otherwise remains sturdy and serviceable. 15) 2 unmarked 2-cell US mag. pouches. 1 of khaki canvas construction with brass fittings for the M1911, with the other of green canvas construction with a nonferrous metal fastener. CONDITION: good, with wear and age related discoloration. 16) US Vietnam era green canvas scope carrier. Exterior marked "CASE, CARRYING/ 7631596", with "MRT" marked on the interior of the closure flap. Brass fastener. CONDITION: very good overall, with light wear and some discoloration. 17) M1 Carbine OD canvas carrier mfg. by M-D Mfg. Co. in 1944. Exterior is marked "U.S.", with "M-D MFG. CO./ 1944" marked on the interior. CONDITION: good, with some light wear and age related discoloration. 18) US Model 1907 sling. Brown leather construction with brass fittings.
