FROM ARIZONA. This exceptionally large and well-detailed black-and-white photograph has been reproduced on canvas and depicts 16 Native Americans from Arizona in 1886. The frame measures 71 1/4" x 42 1/4" and is made of unadorned gray-painted wood. The lower left corner reads "COPYRIGHT, 1886, BY C. S. Fly, Tombstone, Ariz." Four Native Americans are on horseback, and the remainder are standing. Most appear to be adults or teenagers, but there are two children depicted. An interesting, exceptionally detailed photograph showing volumes of information on period dress, adornments, and armaments. CONDITION: very light wear overall. (02-22716/BF). $250-400.
