TAYLOR. Alpheus Taylor enlisted from Pennsylvania as a Private in Company C, 1st Bucktail Regiment. He served in various battles including the great conflict at Gettysburg. He was discharged in August of 1863 shortly after Gettysburg & reenlisted later that year in the New York Heavy Artillery where he served until the end of the war. This lg. & attractive soldier’s memorial measures 39 1/2" x 32" framed. CONDITION: memorial shows little age but frame does have minor losses. (02-14319/BF). $25-35.
