GROUP.
1) PHOTO ALBUM. A green, pressed paper covered photo album with an SS eagle on the front. Album contains many pictures of German Schutzpolizei. Photos show police in several different uniforms along with various war views including armor, graves & some battle scenes. The last few pictures depict American occupation troops. CONDITION: cover shows moderate wear. Photos remain crisp & clear.
2) BOOK. A lg. format book titled, “Adolf Hitler BILDER AUS DEM LEBEN DES FUHRERS”. Book is approx. 133 pgs. & contains numerous tipped-in photos of Hitler & associated individuals. CONDITION: spine of the book shows significant separation. The pages remain undamaged & the photos are clear & crisp.
3) FRAMED PHOTO. A framed, autographed photo dated 1931 of
Felix von Luckner, noted German naval hero & one of the most decorated of German naval officers. Felix Nikolaus Alexander Georg Graf von Luckner was born in 1881 & died in 1966. He was sometimes referred to as Count Luckner. Lucknor had innumerable heroic exploits throughout the world but is most remembered for his time spent as captain of the SMS Seeadler during WWI. The frame measures 11 3/4" x 16" & the image measures approx. 6 1/2" x 10 1/2". CONDITION: image has light foxing to the edges & a sm. crease toward the base. Frame has a few finish scrapes.
4) DOCUMENTS. A fine group of documents including an award document for the War Service Cross 2nd Class to a member of the NSKOV. / An award document for the War Service Cross 2nd Class with swords to a member of the SS. / An award document for the Tank Assault badge in bronze to a member of the SS. / An award document for the Iron Cross 2nd Class to a member of the police. / A Waffen SS reunion document from 1975, an award document dated 1934 for an Honor Cross for frontline combatants. / An Arbeitsbuch dated 1937 from Hamburg belonging to Johann Meier. / A Soldbuch with dated entries mostly in 1943 for Grenadier Kurt Kuhler.
