SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL. Cal. 7.65mm. S# 596928. Bbl. 3 3/8". Model 1934 semi-automatic pistol mfg. by Mauser for commercial sales. Left side of the slide is marked with the S# within a milled panel, followed by Mauser's mfg. information, with "Cal. 7,65 D.R.P.u.A.P." marked on the right. Sideplate is marked with the Mauser banner logo. Top of the slide and right side of the front bbl. lug are marked with an Eagle/N commercial nitro proof. Metal components exhibit a lustrous high polish salt blue finish overall. Frame is mounted with a 1-piece flat checkered wood wrap around grip. Fixed half-moon blade front sight, with dovetailed U-notch rear sight. All serialized parts are matching and include the frame, sideplate, slide, and bbl. MAGS: 1 8-rd. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting areas of wear and thinning that show through to gray patina, as well as some scattered pinprick spots of surface oxidation. Bright bore, exhibiting light to mild pitting, while retaining strong rifling throughout. Grip shows some superficial marks from handling and storage, but otherwise remains sturdy and serviceable.
