AUTO MILITARY RIFLE WITH CMP CORRECT GRADE CERTIFICATE. Cal. 30-06. S# 5856665. Bbl. 24". Barrel is marked on the right side "SA 3 55". Throat and muzzle gauge 1.0. T105E1 aperture rear sight. Blade front sight with protective ears. All major parts markings are "SA". Stamped trigger guard. Hi-hump gas cylinder lock. Walnut stock set. Buttstock is marked on left side with the Defense Acceptance "eagle" and marked under grip with encircled "P" proof. Rear handguard appears to be a period replacement. UNNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: Original CMP certificate of Authenticity signed by Gary Anderson dated Oct. 26,2005. The original invoice is dated the same. The accompanying manual is titled "U.S. Rifle, Caliber .30, M1". CONDITION: buttstock and front handguard have original finish with moderate wear and numerous handling marks with legible markings. Rear handguard has an arsenal rework finish with light wear and scattered handling marks. Metal retains 80% of its original Parkerized finish with light wear. Very good shiny bore with sharp lands.
