RIFLE. Cal. 30-30. S# 2180168. Bbl. 24 3/8". Model 64 lever action rifle mfg. by Winchester in 1956. Left side of the bbl. exhibits standard markings denoting Winchester's mfg. information, as well as the model and cal. designations. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall. Plain wood pistol grip buttstock and forend exhibit later added extra varnish. Ramped and hooded blade front sight, with dovetailed U-notch rear sight. CONDITION: metal components retain bountiful amounts of their original factory blue, exhibiting a couple of spots of light wear and thinning (primarily on edges), some superficial handling marks, as well as a few scattered spots of light surface oxidation. Brilliant mirror bore, exhibiting well defined rifling throughout. Wood furniture shows some superficial marks and minor impressions from handling and storage, with some flaking to its added varnish.
