AUTOMATIC PISTOL. Cal. 7.65mm. S# 859798. Bbl. 3 1/4". Model HSc semi-automatic pistol mfg. by Mauser during late World War II for commercial sales. The left side of the slide is marked with the Mauser banner logo, followed by Mauser's mfg. information above the model and cal. designations, which are separated by 3 horizontal lines. Right side of frame exhibits an Eagle/N commercial nitro proof on the rear trigger web. Metal components exhibit a blued finish. Frame is mounted with 2-piece checkered black plastic aftermarket grips. All numbers are matching and include the frame, slide, and bbl. MAGS: 1-8rd. CONDITION: metal components retain large amounts of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting wear and thinning overall, with scattered spots of light surface oxidation and a few areas of pitting. Very bright bore, exhibiting good rifling throughout. Grips show scattered marks from handling and storage, but otherwise remain sturdy and serviceable. (23-6233/MLW). CURIO. $300-400.
