Cal. 8mm Mauser. S# 7782a. Bbl. 23 1/4". Blade front sight with hood. Tangent rear sight graduated to 1200m. Rifle is configured as a sniper rifle with an original ddx coded ZF4 scope on what appears to be an original mount. Mount is numbered "1932". Scope has post reticle & cloudy optics. Rubber eypiece present. Rear sight base marked "K43 qve 45" denoting mfg. by Berliner Luebecker in 1945. Stamped matching numbers on stock, receiver & charging handle. Matching electropencil numbers on bolt body, locking lugs, extractor & firing pin housing. Phosphate & blued finishes. Laminated stock set with left side sling provisions & repro leather sling. Replacement cleaning rod. MAGS: 1-10 rd. coded "gcb". UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: scope covers, repro manual & firing pin. CONDITION: sanded stock set has faint Waffenamts with carved "W" on left side of butt, some light chipping around buttplate, a few dings & some handling marks. Metal retains 60% original blue & phosphate with scattered fading to brown & moderate oxidation. Action appears to function properly when hand cycled.
