Ideal-grade open pattern foliate engraving with a shaded background having straight lines and wavy borders. Double triggers. Extractors. Splinter forearm with Anson latch. Hard rubber-capped pistol grip stock of nicely grained walnut with hand checkering. LOP: altered to 14 5/8" over an aftermarket Pachmayr pad. DAC: 1 3/4". DAH: 3". Bore diameter: RT .722 LT .724. Choke constriction: RT .033 LT .033. Minimum wall thickness: RT .029 LT .026. WEIGHT: 8 lbs, 4.6 oz. A total of 26,686 ideal-grade shotguns were mfg. 1912-50. CONDITION: bbls. have 98% brightly polished caustic reblued finish. Action retains 30% of its lightly visible case colors. Triggers, trigger guards, and floorplate screws have a very good reblued finish. Sanded and refinished wood showing a few small marks. Stock has hairline cracks behind both locks.
