COMPONENTS & DIES. Cal. .270 Win. S# H7140. This rifle was the property of gun writer Jim Fender & his notes indicate that there were only 150 true left hand versions of this, the "Lux" model. He further relates "this rifle is extremely accurate & has accounted for a number of 1 shot kills on North American game". Rifle has 24" bbl. fitted w/ iron sights, alloy receiver w/ removable box magazine is fitted w/ E.A.W. QD scope mounts holding Leupold 3x9 "Vari-X IIC" scope w/ crosshair & dot reticle. Oil finished checkered stock features black recoil pad & left hand palm swell. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: included w/ rifle are cloth lined leather sling, spare mag. & stock takedown tool in ABS case marked "Sauer 200". Also included is an orange "Cantico" storage box containing a lg. number of fired cases, RCBS dies & a lg. variety of bullets ranging from 110-160 grains by Hornaday, Nosler, Speer, Sierra & Barnes along w/ consignor's notes & Sauer catalogs. CONDITION: very fine w/ only a few light handling marks. Mechanically fine, scope is clear. (20-2393/MGM85). MODERN. $1,500-2,250.
