SINGLE SHOT RIFLE. Cal. 30-06 S# 132-58447 (May 4, 1983). Per letter, The No. 1 RSI first appeared in the 1984 Ruger Firearms catalog.... this rifle would have been one of the first RSI models produced. This Ruger No. 1 features a 20-inch blued barrel. It is equipped with a bead front sight and a flip-up rear sight on quarter rib. The frame has a blued finish with a falling block action. The rifle is fitted with a checkered International forearm and a pistol grip buttstock, both made of walnut, with a red rubber pad. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: Ruger factory letter. CONDITION: The overall condition is near excellent. The barrel retains approximately 98% of its original finish, with the frame retaining about 95% of its blued finish. The forearm and buttstock are in excellent condition with minimal handling marks. The bore is bright and sharp. MODERN (23-6470/MD) $1,000-1,500.
