SETS OF GRIPS. Lot of 12 assorted U.S. M1911 mags. and 2 sets of grips, including: 1) 4 blued M1911 mags. mfg. by M.S. Little Co. (marked "L" on top of floorplate toe). 2) 4 blued M1911 mags. mfg. by Risdon Mfg. Co. (all marked with an "R" on the top of the floorplate toe, 2 marked "C-R' on bottom of floorplate toe). 3) 2 blued M1911 mags. mfg. by Scovill Mfg. Co. (mags. are marked with an "S" on the top of the floorplate toe, with "C-S" marked on the bottom of the floorplate toe. 4) 1 unmarked M1911 mag. with pinned floorplate. 5) 1 blued contemporary M1911 mag. (faintly marked "1911 Cal. 45 ACP" on the left side of the body, with an "S" marked on the top of the floorplate toe). 6) 2 sets of checkered brown synthetic grips, and 1 checkered brown synthetic left grip panel. Interior of grip sets are marked with a "K" within a star. 1 grip exhibits a painted "69" in white paint on the exterior of the panel. CONDITION: mags. exhibit varying degrees of wear, thinning, and scattered superficial handling marks, with most remaining very good overall. 2 mags. retain a mottled gray patina. Grips show varying degrees of smoothing and scattered marks from handling and storage, but otherwise remain sturdy and serviceable. (02-24271-8/MLW). $400-800.
