SHOTGUNS. 1) Cal. 12 GA, 3". S# 72V15346. Bbl. 27 1/2". A5 Magnum semi-automatic shotgun mfg. in Belgium by Fabrique Nationale and imported by Browning Arms Company in 1972. Left side of the bbl. is marked with Browning's importer information above "MADE IN BELGIUM", with the model and cal. designations above "BROWNING PATENTS" marked on the right. Sides of the receiver feature sections wavy line borders and foliate scroll motifs, with the left side also being engraved "Magnum" in script above the Browning trademark logo and a portrait of John Moses Browning. Receiver exhibits a highly polished blue finish, with the bbl. exhibiting an apparent professionally reapplied blue finish. Bolt assembly is polished in-the-white. Glossy finished checkered wood and finger grooved forearm with checkered wood pistol grip buttstock featuring a red ventilated rubber Browning recoil pad. Bbl. features a fixed Modified choke and a matte grooved V/R, with an aluminum bead front sight. CONDITION: receiver retains the vast majority of its original factory blue finish, exhibiting mild wear fading to brown patina on the upper tang, with some light thinning present on the lower tang. Bbl. retains the vast majority of its apparent reapplied blue finish, exhibiting some light edge wear, with some softening to the markings. Mirror bore, exhibiting a few streaks of apparent grease or hardened firing residue. Proper manual mechanics. Wood furniture shows scattered marks and small impressions from handling and storage, but otherwise remains sound. (25-6815/MLW). 2) Cal. 12 GA, 2 3/4". S# 4M68571. Bbl. 29 1/2". A5 semi-automatic shotgun mfg. in Belgium by Fabrique Nationale and imported by Browning Arms Company in 1964. Left side of the bbl. is marked with Browning's importer information above "MADE IN BELGIUM", with "* SPECIAL STEEL-12 GAUGE-SHELLS 2 3/4" " marked on the right. Sides of receiver feature standard engraving consisting of sections of wavy line borders and foliate scrollwork, with the Browning trademark logo and a portrait of John Moses Browning also engraved on the left side. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, save for on the bolt assembly, which is polished in-the-white. Glossy finished checkered and finger grooved forearm with rnd. knob buttstock and FN monogram "BROWNING" / "AUTOMATIC" black synthetic buttplate. Bbl. features a fixed Full choke with an aluminum bead front sight. CONDITION: metal components retain the vast majority of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting some light superficial handling marks, with some light thinning present on the receiver tangs. Mirror bore. Proper manual mechanics. Wood furniture shows some scattered superficial marks and small impressions from handling and storage, with cracking to the varnish present on the buttstock.
