PISTOLS. 1) GERMAN OCCUPATION BERETTA MODEL 1934 SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL. Cal. 9mm Corto (.380 ACP). S# 9218AA. Bbl. 3 3/8". 1 of approx. 19,000 Model 1934 semi-automatic pistols mfg. by Beretta while under German occupation between 1943-1945. This example, mfg. in 1944 exhibits standard factory markings denoting the model and cal. designations above "GARDONE V.T. 1944" on the left side of the slide. Left side of frame tang is stamped with what appears to be a crowned encircled Rampant Lion proof, with a boxed "CS" proof marked on the right side of the forward trigger guard web. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall. Frame is mounted with 2-piece blued steel and textured black synthetic encircled "PB" logo grips. Standard integral blade front sight and dovetailed U-notch rear sight. All serialized parts are matching and include the frame, slide, and bbl. MAGS: x1 blued steel 7-rd. with blued steel grip extension. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting some light to mild edge wear, with some superficial handling marks and spots of light surface oxidation present overall. Grip straps exhibit mild wear and thinning that is fading to gray patina, with scattered spots of light surface oxidation. Bright bore, exhibiting some light surface oxidation and pitting, while retaining well defined rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics. Grips show some light wear and a few superficial marks from handling and storage, but otherwise remain sound. (25-5429/MLW). 2) CUSTOM ENGRAVED BERETTA MODEL 1935 SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL. Cal. 7.65mm. S# 858143. Bbl. 3 5/16". Model 1935 semi-automatic pistol mfg. by Beretta for commercial sales in 1955. Left side of the slide is marked with Beretta's mfg. information and the cal. designation, with "MADE IN ITALY" marked on the right. Left side of frame exhibits Italian proofs, followed by "1955". Sides of slide feature professionally executed foliate scroll engraving on small stippled backgrounds. Metal components exhibit a reapplied blue finish overall, with the sides of the hammer being polished and jeweled in-the-white. Frame is mounted with 2-piece "BERETTA" checkered black synthetic grips. Standard integral blade front sight and dovetailed U-notch rear sight. All serialized parts are matching and include the frame, slide, and bbl. Mag. is absent. CONDITION: metal components retain the virtually all of their reapplied blue finish overall. Near mirror bore, exhibiting some spots of light surface oxidation and pitting, while retaining well defined rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics.
