REVOLVERS. 1) COLT OFFICERS MODEL MATCH .22 LR DOUBLE ACTION REVOLVER. Cal. 22 LR. S# 77393. Bbl. 6". Officers Model Match double action revolver mfg. by Colt in 1959. Left side of the bbl. is marked "OFFICERS MODEL MATCH/ CAL. .22 LONG RIFLE", with Colt's single line address marked on the right. Left side of the frame is marked with the Rampant Colt logo. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, save for on the sides of the hammer, which are polished in-the-white. Frame is mounted with 2-piece Colt silver medallion checkered wood grips. Ramped and pinned blade front sight with adj. square notch rear sight. Grooved trigger and back strap. Matching numbers are present on the frame and cyl. CONDITION: metal components retain the vast majority of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting some light edge wear and a few superficial handling marks overall. Mirror bore, retaining well defined rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics. Grips show some light smoothing, as well as a few superficial marks from handling and storage, but otherwise remain very good overall. (25-5370/MLW). 2) COLT OFFICERS MODEL TARGET .22 LR DOUBLE ACTION REVOLVER. Cal. 22 LR. S# 26772. Bbl. 5 15/16". Officers Model Target double action revolver mfg. by Colt in 1942. Left side of the bbl. is marked "COLT", followed by "OFFICERS/ MODEL" and "22 LONG RIFLE", with Colt's 2-line mfg. and patent information marked across the top. Left side of the frame is marked with the Rampant Colt logo. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, with the top and rear straps of the frame exhibiting a matte blue finish. Sides of the hammer are polished in-the-white. Frame is mounted with 2-piece brown synthetic grips, featuring embossed floral panels on a textured background on either panel, with the left panel featuring a grooved thumbrest. Pinned patridge blade front sight (rear face painted white) with dovetailed adj. square notch rear sight. Checkered trigger and back strap. Ejector rod head is absent. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting some spots / small patches of light to mild wear fading to gray patina, with scattered spots of light surface oxidation present overall. Bbl. exhibits scattered spots of light to mild surface oxidation, as well as some light pitting. Sides of the hammer exhibit scattered spots of age related discoloration. Mirror bore, exhibiting some very light pitting, while retaining well defined rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics. Grips show some superficial handling marks, with the right panel exhibiting cracking stemming from the screw slot cover. (25-5430/MLW). BOTH CURIO. $800-1,200.
