1) FIRST SERIES COLT WOODSMAN SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL WITH MATCHING FACTORY BOX. Cal. 22 LR. S# 94896. Bbl. 4 9/16". Woodsman semi-automatic pistol mfg. by Colt in 1935. Left side of the bbl. is marked with Colt's 2-line mfg. and patent information, followed by "THE WOODSMAN" on the frame. Left side of the slide is marked "COLT", followed by "AUTOMATIC/ CAL. .22 LONG RIFLE" and the Rampant Colt logo. Metal components exhibit a reapplied blue finish overall. Frame is mounted with 2-piece checkered wood grips. Standard fixed blade front sight and dovetailed adj. square notch rear sight. MAGS: x1 10-rd. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: factory black cardboard box matching via the full S# (handwritten on underside) containing a Woodsman ad / parts list, a Colt Special Instructions pamphlet, as well as an older printed sheet showing a diagram and detailing the disassembly instructions. CONDITION: metal components retain the vast majority of their reapplied blue finish, exhibiting some light edge wear, with scattered spots/areas of light to mild pitting present beneath the finish overall. Mirror bore, exhibiting some light pitting towards the muzzle, while retaining good rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics. Grips show smoothing, as well as a few superficial handling marks, but otherwise remain sound. Box shows some tearing and tattering to its black wrapped exterior, as well as some staining on the interior, but otherwise remains sound. Left side of the bbl. is marked with Colt's 2-line mfg. and patent information, followed by the Rampant Colt logo above "MATCH TARGET" on the frame. Left side of the slide is marked "COLT", followed by "AUTOMATIC/ CAL. .22 LONG RIFLE". Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, with the top, rear, underside, and bbl. flutes exhibiting a matte blue finish. Frame is mounted with 2-piece checkered wood grips. Ramped and pinned patridge blade front sight with dovetailed adj. square notch rear sight. Grooved trigger and grip straps. MAGS: x1 10-rd. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting light edge wear, with scattered superficial handling marks and spots of light surface oxidation overall. Grip straps exhibit some light to mild thinning. Brilliant mirror bore, retaining well defined rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics.
