PARTS KITS. Lot of 2 Polish PM-63 RAK & Sten parts kits, including: 1) Polish PM-63 RAK (Reczny Automat Komandosow "Commando Automatic Rifle") parts kit originally mfg. by Radom in 1970. Kit consists of: x1 slide, x1 collapsible buttstock, x1 grooved synthetic pistol grip, x1 distinctive synthetic folding vertical foregrip, x1 recoil spring & guide rod, x1 15-rd. mag., x2 25-rd. mags., and x6 sections of torch cut receiver. CONDITION: metal components retain large amounts to the majority of their arsenal blue finish, exhibiting areas of wear fading to gray patina, with scattered spots and small patches of light surface oxidation. Synthetic furniture shows scattered superficial scratches and marks, but otherwise remains sound. 2) Sten submachine gun parts kit consisting of: x3 stamped steel skeleton buttstocks stocks (x1 appearing to be a Belgian produced Sten MK II stock, as stamped with a 5-digit S# and a crown on the rear, and exhibiting a gray painted finish, as was found on post-war Belgian small arms), x2 steel tubular T-buttstocks, x3 fire control housings (each with trigger mechanism cover), x2 trigger mechanism covers, x4 bolts, x2 bolt charging handles, x5 return springs, x4 return spring housings (each with cap), x2 bbls. with handguards (x1 MK V), x2 MK III bbls., x1 MK II mag. housing assembly, x1 MK V pistol grip, x3 saw-cut sections of assorted Sten receivers, x1 saw-cut & torch cut section of a mag. housing, x1 saw-cut bbl., and x1 bag of assorted small parts. CONDITION: metal components exhibit varying degrees of wear, with some exhibiting scattered spots of oxidation, but otherwise all appearing to remain serviceable. MK II bbl. bore is bright, exhibiting consistent light pitting and a few scattered spots/patches of moderate pitting, while retaining fair rifling throughout. MK III bbl. bores are bright, exhibiting light to mild pitting, with one retaining strong rifling and the other retaining fair to good rifling throughout. MK V bbl. bore is near mirror, exhibiting a few small spots of light pitting, while retaining well defined rifling throughout. A nice assortment of PM-63 & Sten parts. (02-26563/MLW).
