CARBINES. 1) Cal. 30-30. S# 2476400. Bbl. 20". Model 94 lever action action carbine mfg. by Winchester in 1961. Left side of the bbl. exhibits standard factory markings denoting Winchester's mfg. information, as well as the model and cal. designations. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall. Plain wood single band fastened forearm and straight grip buttstock with matte blue finished checkered steel buttplate. Toeline of stock and underside of mag. tube feature added sling swivels. Ramped, dovetailed, and aluminum beaded blade front sight with dovetailed U-notch rear sight. Left side of receiver features added screws, likely for a Williams pattern rear sight assembly. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting some scattered spots and patches of light to mild surface oxidation, as well as some superficial handling marks. Lever exhibits scattered patches of mild surface oxidation. Mirror bore, retaining well defined rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics. Wood furniture shows scattered marks and impressions from handling and storage, but otherwise remains sound. (25-4748/MLW). 2) Cal. 30-30. S# 1731219. Bbl. 20". Mfg. in 1951. Left side of bbl. exhibits standard factory markings denoting the model and cal. designations. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall. Plain wood forearm and straight grip stock with flat checkered steel buttplate. Comb of stock is inlaid with compass. Toeline of stock and underside of mag. tube feature added sling swivels. Ramped aluminum bead blade front sight with dovetailed U-notch rear sight. Left side of receiver features added screws, likely for a previously mounted sight / scope base. CONDITION: metal components retain large amounts to the majority of their original factory blue finish, showing areas of wear and thinning (predominately on the underside of the receiver and on edges) that are fading to gray patina, with scattered superficial handling marks, as well as a few spots of light surface oxidation and pitting present overall. Muzzle crown and mag. tube cap exhibit some light oxidation and pitting. Bright bore, exhibiting some scattered spots of light pitting and a few small spots/patches of dark moderate pitting, while retaining well defined rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics. Wood furniture shows scattered handling marks, some minor impressions, as well as some spots/areas of flaking to the varnish, but otherwise remain sound. (25-4751/MLW). BOTH CURIO. $900-1,300.
