1) REMINGTON MODEL 12 SLIDE ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 22 S, L, LR. S# 720402. Bbl. 24". Model 12 slide action rifle mfg. by Remington. Top flat of the octagonal bbl. is marked with Remington's mfg. and patent information, with the Remington trademark logo and cal. designation marked towards the breech. Left side of the receiver is marked "MODEL 12" above the S#. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, save for on the bolt, which is polished in-the-white. Plain wood pistol grip buttstock, with grooved wood pump. Buttstock has been sanded and revarnished at one time. Brass tipped Marbles Sheard blade front sight, with flip-up U-notch rear sight. Receiver screws at buttstock are absent. CONDITION: metal components retain fair to good amounts of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting some light to mild wear, as well as scattered areas of oxidation, dark oxidation, and areas of lacquer. Mirror bore, retaining strong rifling throughout. Buttstock exhibits a large crack stemming from the buttplate, as well as a repair on the top of the wrist, stemming from the receiver. 2) MARLIN MODEL 32 SLIDE ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 22 S, L, LR. NSN. Bbl. 24". Model 32 slide action rifle mfg. by Marlin. Top flat of the octagonal bbl. is marked with Marlin's mfg. and patent information, with the cal. designation marked on the left quarter flat towards the breech. Underside of receiver is marked "Marlin/ MOD. 32". Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, save for on the bolt, which is jeweled in-the-white. Plain wood pistol grip buttstock, with grooved wood pump. Ivory beaded blade front sight, with V-notch rear sight. CONDITION: good, with metal components retaining the majority of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting some areas of mild wear and thinning, light o mild edge wear, as well as areas of light surface oxidation overall. Mirror bore, exhibiting well defined rifling throughout. Ivory bead on front sight is chipped. Wood furniture shows scattered marks and some minor impressions from handling and storage, but otherwise remains sturdy and serviceable. (24-7129/MLW). BOTH CURIO. $250-350.
