ADVERTISING STANDEES. 1) Large Peters Cartridge Company Filmkote ammunition 3-panel store advertising standee. Left panel features a blue graphic of a bird above "Keep/ your barrel clean/ by using/ FILMKOTE/ 22's/ THEY ARE RUSTLESS" above a graphic of 3 Peters Filmkote .22 caliber cartridge boxes. Center panel is marked with "Boys, you'll/ score better with/ FILMKOTE/ INVISIBLY LUBRICATED" within a circle above a scene of a man and 2 boys with Peters Filmkote ammunition, the Peters logo, and a blue banner reading "THE PETERS CARTRIDGE COMPANY". Right panel is marked with a scene of 2 rats above "Good marksmanship/ gets rid of pests/ with/ FILMKOTE/ 22's/ CLEAN/ ACCURATE/ POWERFUL" and 3 .22 caliber Peters cartridges. Standee is accompanied by its factory shipping box with label indicating shipment to "Leslie's Store" in Abilene, KS from the Peters Cartridge Company. CONDITION: standee retains clear and strong coloration, with upper edges of panels (notably the center panel) exhibiting moisture / water related damage and staining and some small losses, with staining more notable on rear face. Shipping box shows water / moisture related staining on corresponding areas to the standee. 2) Small Peters Cartridge Company store countertop advertising standee. Standee features a circular graphic of a boy and girl with rifles aimed above a stack of assorted Peters .22 caliber ammunition boxes. Standee is accompanied by a vintage Peters ammunition pamphlet. CONDITION: standee is good, showing scattered spots and patches of surface level exterior losses to the graphic predominately on the circular scene. Otherwise graphic retains clear and strong coloration. Pamphlet exhibits some minor exterior losses, but otherwise remains sound. PROVENANCE: Norman Olliff Estate. (02-25110/MLW). NON-GUN. $250-350.
