SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOLS. 1) COLT MODEL 1908 HAMMERLESS SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL. Cal. 380 ACP. S# 91185. Bbl. 3 3/4". Model 1908 Hammerless semi-automatic pistol mfg. by Colt in 1928. Left side of the slide is marked with Colt's 2-line mfg. and patent information, followed by the Rampant Colt logo, with "COLT AUTOMATIC/ CALIBRE .380 HAMMERLESS" marked on the right. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, save for on the muzzle and chamber areas of the bbl., which are polished in-the-white. Frame is mounted with 2-piece Colt silver medallion checkered wood grips. Standard fixed half-moon blade front sight and dovetailed U-notch rear sight. Slide matches the frame via the full S# on the interior. MAGS: x1 dual-tone 7-rd. CONDITION: metal components retain large amounts of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting areas of wear and thinning that have faded to gray patina, with scattered spots and small patches of light surface oxidation and pitting overall. Bore is bright, exhibiting a consistent scattering of light to mild surface oxidation and pitting, while retaining good rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics. Grips show heavy smoothing, as well as scattered marks and impressions from handling and storage, but otherwise remain sound. (25-5386/MLW). 2) COLT MODEL 1903 HAMMERLESS SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL. Cal. 32 Rimless. S# 280801. Bbl. 3 3/4". Model 1903 Hammerless semi-automatic pistol mfg. by Colt in 1918. Left side of the slide is marked with Colt's patent and mfg. information, followed by the Rampant Colt logo, with "COLT AUTOMATIC/ CALIBRE 32 RIMLESS SMOKELESS" marked on the right. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, save for on the bbl., which is polished in-the-white. Frame is mounted with 2-piece "COLT" checkered brown hard rubber grips. Standard fixed half-moon blade front sight and dovetailed U-notch rear sight. Slide matches the frame via "801" on the interior. MAGS: x1 dual-tone 8-rd. CONDITION: metal components retain large amounts of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting areas and patches of wear fading to gray patina, with scattered spots of mild pitting present overall. Very bright bore, exhibiting consistent light pitting, while retaining good rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics. Grips show light to mild smoothing and some superficial handling marks, with the left grip exhibiting a large chip at the upper left section of the panel. (25-5396/MLW). 3) COLT MODEL 1903 HAMMERLESS SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL. Cal. 32 Rimless. S# 540693. Bbl. 3 3/4". Model 1903 Hammerless semi-automatic pistol mfg. by Colt in 1940. Left side of the slide is marked with Colt's 2-line mfg. and patent information (Rampant Colt logo obliterated), with "COLT AUTOMATIC/ CALIBRE 32 RIMLESS SMOKELESS" marked on the right. Metal components exhibit a reapplied nickel plated finish overall, save for on the bbl., which is blued, as well as polished in-the-white at the muzzle and chamber areas. Frame is mounted with 2-piece Ajax aftermarket Colt silver medallion faux ivory grips. Standard fixed blade front sight and dovetailed square notch rear sight. Slide matches the frame via the full S# on the interior. MAGS: x1 reapplied nickel plated 8-rd. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their reapplied nickel finish, showing scattered spots and patches of flaking that show through to gray patina, with scattered patches of mild to moderate pitting. Relatively bright bore, exhibiting consistent light to mild pitting, while retaining good rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics. Grips show some superficial handling marks, but otherwise remain sound. Interior of right grip panel is chipped around the screw slot, with a previous glued repair having broken free. (25-5410/MLW).
