1) STEVENS FAVORITE MODEL 1915 SINGLE SHOT RIFLE. Cal. 22 LR. S# H964. Bbl. 24". Favorite Model 1915 single shot breechloading rifle mfg. by Stevens. Top flat of the octagonal bbl. is marked with Steven's mfg. information, as well as with the cal. designation. Top flat of the breech is marked "TRADE MARK/ FAVORITE" above patent information, with "MODEL 1915" marked on the upper receiver tang. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall. Plain wood straight grip buttstock and forend have been sanded and revarnished. German silver blade front sight, with U-notch rear sight. CONDITION: receiver and lever retain fair amounts of their original blue finish, exhibiting wear and thinning overall that shows through to brown and gray patinas. Bbl. retains the majority of its original blue finish, exhibiting edge wear, scattered handling marks, as well as scattered spots of light to mild surface oxidation overall. Bright bore, exhibiting some spots of mild pitting, while retaining strong rifling throughout. Wood furniture is good as sanded and revarnished. (24-5082/MLW). 2) STEVENS FAVORITE SINGLE SHOT RIFLE. Cal. 22 LR. S# 63. Bbl. 21 1/2". Favorite single shot rifle mfg. by Stevens. Right quarter flat of the half octagonal bbl. is marked with Steven's mfg. and patent information, with the cal. designation marked on the left quarter flat. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall. Plain wood straight grip buttstock and forend. Brass blade front sight, with U-notch rear sight. CONDITION: receiver exhibits a dark gray patina with pitting overall. Bbl. retains traces of its original blue, with the balance exhibiting oxidation and pitting overall. Dark pitted bore, exhibiting fair rifling throughout. Wood furniture shows scattered marks and impressions from handling and storage, with a crack present on the left side of the forend at the rear. (24-5082/MLW). 3) STEVENS SINGLE SHOT RIFLE. Cal. 22 LR. S# 173. Bbl. 21 1/2". Single shot rifle mfg. by Stevens. Right quarter flat of the half octagonal bbl. is marked with Steven's mfg. and patent information, with the cal. designation marked on the left quarter flat. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall. Plain wood straight grip buttstock and forend. German silver blade front sight, with U-notch rear sight. CONDITION: receiver exhibits wear and thinning overall to brown and gray patinas, with surface oxidation present overall. Bbl. retains traces of its original finish, exhibiting wear through to gray patina, with light to mild oxidation and pitting present overall. Pitted bore, retaining fair to good rifling throughout. Wood furniture shows scattered marks and impressions from handling and storage, with the buttstock exhibiting a large crack on either side at the toe.
