This lot consists of the following percussion pistols: 1. Simeon North US 1816 Percussion Conversion Pistol. Cal. 54. NSN. Bbl. 9 1/16". Round blade front sight. Lock has eagle w/ "S. NORTH US MIDLTN CONN". Bbl. marked "JP" & "US". Brightly finished metal. Lock is functional when hand cycled. Walnut stock. Left side of stock has carved initials "HK" over faint inspector's cartouche. Button head ramrod present. CONDITION: stock set appears sanded w/ an older added finish, a few cracks, scattered chipping, dings & handling wear. Cleaned metal shows scattered pitting, oxidation & dings. Oxidized smoothbore. 2. Johnson US 1842 Percussion Pistol. Cal. 54. NSN. Bbl. 8 1/2". Brass blade front sight that has chipped partly off. Lock marked "US/IN JOHNSON" & "MIDDTN/CONN/1853". Bbl. marked "US/JCB/P" & "STEEL". Brass furniture. Lock is functional when hand cycled. Walnut stock w/ faint cartouches. Button head ramrod present. CONDITION: stock has added finish w/ notable chip to right of upper tang, a few cracks, scattered dings & handling wear. Brass parts appear cleaned w/ a lightly carved "P" on backstrap, scattered dings & oxidation. Balance of metal is mostly a dull gray patina w/ scattered pitting, oxidation & dings. Oxidized bore. 3.
