SHOTGUNS. 1) Cal. 12 GA, 2 3/4". S# E1019161. Bbl. 20 3/4". Model 97 pump action shotgun mfg. by Winchester circa. 1956. Left side of the bbl. is marked with the model and cal. designations above a "CYL" choke marking. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall. Grooved wood pump with replacement and/or sanded and refinished pistol grip buttstock and checkered black synthetic Winchester buttplate. Aluminum bead front sight. Matching numbers are present on the receiver and receiver extension. CONDITION: metal components retain large amounts of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting areas of wear and thinning fading to gray and brown patinas, scattered superficial handling marks, as well as some scattered spots of light surface oxidation. Proper manual mechanics. Wood furniture shows scattered marks from handling and storage, but otherwise remains sound. Underside of pump exhibits several notable dings / impressions. (25-5458/MLW). 2) Cal. 12 GA. S# E886531. Bbl. 20 1/4". Assembled Model 1897 pump action shotgun in trench configuration mfg. by Winchester in 1942. Left side of the receiver is marked with a spuriously applied double stamped "U.S. (FLAMING ORDNANCE BOMB) proof. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall. Grooved wood pump and plain wood pistol grip buttstock with checkered black hard rubber buttplate. Brass bead front sight. Bbl. is fitted with an aftermarket 4-row black enamel finished steel handguard. Receiver extension is mismatched. CONDITION: metal components retain fair amounts of their blue finish, exhibiting areas of wear and thinning fading to gray and brown patinas, striations from prior cleaning, as well as scattered spots / small patches of light to mild surface oxidation and pitting. Bbl. appears to have been relined, retaining a bright bore and exhibiting scattered spots of oxidation / light pitting, as well as a ring bulge. Proper manual mechanics. Wood furniture shows scattered marks, impressions, and flaking to the finish, but otherwise remains sound. (25-5462/MLW). 3) Cal. 12 GA. S# E495198. Bbl. 20 1/2". Model 1897 pump action shotgun mfg. by Winchester in 1912. Top of the bbl. is marked with Winchester's 2-line mfg. and patent information, followed by "12 GA.". Action slide is marked "MODEL 1897/ -WINCHESTER-". Metal components exhibit a reapplied blue finish overall. Grooved wood pump with plain pistol grip buttstock and checkered black hard rubber buttplate. Aluminum bead front sight. Matching numbers are present on the receiver and receiver extension. CONDITION: metal components retain fair amounts of their reapplied blue finish, exhibiting areas of wear and thinning fading to gray and brown patinas, with scattered patches and areas of light to mild pitting. Relatively bright bore, exhibiting consistent light pitting, with several patches of moderate pitting. Proper manual mechanics. Wood furniture shows scattered marks and scratches from handling and storage, with the buttstock exhibiting a small crack on the wrist, stemming from the trigger guard tang. (25-5502/MLW).
