Lot of 4 German P.38 & Luger holsters, including: 1) 1943 dated black leather P.38 holster mfg. by Moll Lederwarenfabrik. Rear of holster is marked with Moll's mfg. code "CXB" above "43", followed by an Eagle/WaA210 proof, and "P38". CONDITION: leather remains malleable, exhibiting areas scattered marks from handling and storage, as well as wear from use overall. Closure flap, strap, and mag. pouch exhibiting varying degrees of age related cracking and crazing. 2) Brown leather commercial Luger holster produced by an unknown mfg. Exterior and interior of closure flap are stamped "GERMANY". Loading tool is absent. CONDITION: leather remains malleable, exhibiting areas of age related cracking and scattered spots of mild crazing overall. Closure flap strap is torn, with the latter half being absent. 3) Brown leather P.08 holster mfg. by Gebruder Klinge in 1938. Rear of holster is marked "GEBRUDER KLINGE/ DRESDEN/ 1938", above an Eagle/WaA142 proof, and "719". Front of closure flap and interior of holster are numbered "3783". Loading tool is absent. CONDITION: leather remains mostly malleable, exhibiting handling marks, with areas of age related cracking and crazing present overall. Closure flap has torn, with the latter half no longer being absent. 4) Brown leather LP.08 holster, with a partially discernible maker mark "LIEFERUNGSENNOSSENSCHA/ DER SATLER/ NURNBERG" present on the interior of the closure flap. Rear of holster is marked with a Crown/III proof. Loading tool and cleaning rod are absent. Belt loop on rear appears to be a later addition. CONDITION: holster remains malleable, exhibiting some areas of age related cracking and crazing. (02-23433/MLW). $500-700.
