This lot consists of the following: 1) Leather handled M4 Bayonet. Imperial marked crossguard. BMCo. M8A1 scabbard & canvas frog present. CONDITION: very good overall with scattered edge & age wear. 2) Leather handled M4 Bayonet. Imperial marked crossguard. BMCo. M8A1 scabbard & canvas frog present. CONDITION: good with scattered thinning, edge wear & leather wear. 3) Colt M16 Bayonet. Blade has Colt logo & Hartford address. US M8A1 scabbard without maker's marking & canvas frog. CONDITION: metal shows scattered edge wear & light oxidation. Metal parts of frog show heavier oxidation. Other parts very good. 4) German WKC NCO Dress Bayonet. WKC marked blade & knight logo. Scabbard present & leather scabbard marked "P47" on rear. CONDITION: metal shows scattered flaking & oxidation. Handles show staining & handling marks. Frog stitching is coming undone & shows scattered crazing, flaking & other wear. Scabbard shows scattered flaking paint & oxidation. 5) German 84/98 Bayonet. 1940 date made by EUF Horster. Matching scabbard & leather frog present. CONDITION: good with some scattered oxidation, light scratches, staining & finish wear. Frog shows scattered crazing, & scuffing. Scabbard shows scattered fading to gray, oxidation & edge wear. PROVENANCE: Estate Collection of John "Jack" Dhooghe. (02-25560/MJC). $200-400 for lot.
