1) Austrian mfg. Mauser pattern rifle bayonet. Blade measures 9 3/4" with an overall length of 14 1/8". Left side of ricasso is marked with an "OE/ WG" mfg. mark, with what appears to be an eagle stamped on the right. Steel guard (without bbl. ring) and pommel, with 2-piece plain wood grip panels. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: German WWII blued steel scabbard mfg. by Carl Eikhorn in 1940. Rear of black leather frog is marked "KURTSEIDEL/ BERLIN W57/ 1940". CONDITION: blade and metal fittings have acquired a dull gray patina, with spots of light surface oxidation and age related discoloration. Pommel exhibits consistent light surface oxidation. Grip panels exhibit some handling marks and dings. Scabbard has faded to a gray/brown patina, with scattered spots of light surface oxidation. Frog remains malleable, exhibiting varying degrees of age related cracking and crazing overall. 2) Yugoslavian Model 1924 short bayonet. Blade measures 9 7/8" with an overall length of 15". Right side of the ricasso is marked with Cyrillic characters above "44" denoting post-war mfg. Blue blade, guard, and pommel. 1-piece plain wood grip panels. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: non-matching blued steel scabbard. CONDITION: blade retains the majority of its arsenal blue finish, showing mild wear on scabbard contact points. Guard and pommel show thinning and general wear. Grip panels are very good overall. Scabbard shows a few dents and some areas of light pitting beneath the finish. 3) Unidentified (possibly Portuguese M1904) Mauser pattern bayonet mfg. in Germany by Simson & Co. Blade measures 9 7/8" with an overall length of 14 3/4". Left side of the ricasso is marked "SIMSON & CO/ SUHL". 2-piece plain wood grip panels. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: non-matching leather scabbard. CONDITION: metal components have faded to a dull gray patina, showing spots of light surface oxidation and areas of age related discoloration. Grip panels show some scattered marks and impressions. Upper portion of scabbard is absent. Remaining portion of scabbard remains malleable, with oxidation present on metal throughout. 4) Chilean Model 1895 bayonet. Blade measures 9 7/8" with an overall length of 14 5/8". Left side of ricasso is marked "WEYERSBERG/ KIRSCHBAUM & Co/ SOLINGEN", with Chilean proofs marked on the right. Blade, guard, and pommel are in-the-white. 2-piece plain wood grip panels. CONDITION: blade is good, showing scattered scratches, spots of light surface oxidation, and age related discoloration, with some nicks and dings to the blade face. Guard and pommel have faded to a dull gray patina, showing spots of age related discoloration and light surface oxidation. Grip panels show scattered marks and impressions, but otherwise remain sound. 5) Unidentified Mauser pattern bayonet. Blade measures 14 7/8" with an overall length of 20 1/8". Bayonet is virtually unmarked, save for the S# "0633/ R" on the right side of the hooked quillon guard. 2-piece plain wood grip panels. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: brown leather scabbard with blued steel throat and ballpoint drag. CONDITION: metal components have faded to a dark gray patina, showing light pitting and some surface oxidation overall. Grips show scattered marks and impressions. Scabbard remains mostly malleable, showing general overall wear. Metal fittings have mostly faded to a gray patina, with light surface oxidation overall. (02-25300/MLW). NON-GUN. $200-400.
