This lot consists of five Allied themed WW2 prints all on white foam backing. The first two are identical Richard Winters prints by John D. Shaw. Both of these prints are signed by the artist. These prints show Richard Winters w/ several airborne scenes. One is in frame that measures 20" x 16" & the other is slightly smaller in shape w/ a 17" x 13" frame. The both show moderate edge wear on the frames. The third print is a Bob Stanford Tuck Tribute by Nicolas Trudgian. This print depicts famed British fighter pilot Bob Standford-Tuck in a Hawker Hurricane waiting on the ground during the Battle of Britain. It is numbered 185/250. The print includes a postcard featuring a Hawker Hurricane w/ Bob Stanford-Tuck's signature. This print includes a certificate of authenticity. The frame measures 19" x 15 1/2" & shows some edge wear. The fourth print is a drawing of Cpl. Charles W. Lindberg w/ a flamethrower & American flag. Lindberg was one of the Marines who raised the first flag on Mount Suribachi during the Battle of Iwo Jima. This print was done by Kelli Spiller & is numbered 32/200. It also signed by Lindberg. The frame measures 22" x 16 1/2". The frame shows some light wear. The fifth print is a drawing of Captain Joe Orendorff by Kelli Spiller. Orendorff was a Bombardier w/ the 7th Air Force 100th Bomb group 349th Squadron. He served from October 1944 until April 1945.He flew 29 missions w/ 19 of those as the lead bombardier. The print is numbered 9/20 & signed by both the artist & Orendorff. The print measrues 23" x 16 1/2" & shows some edge wear. (02-16953-15/MJC). $300-500.
