Includes 3 early grease lamp; one of brass with an affixed tag noting it was from the Olmstead Collection and further notes a similar one was excavated from the ruins of Ft. Louisburg, Cape Breton, N.S. 1720-1758, also two Betty lamps; one with a wrought attachment with pierced tip for sticking in the wood of a log cabin, etc. Next a wrought metal candle holder with a spike that could be driven into the cabin wall. Also, a fragment of another wrought iron candle holder and lastly, a small brass cast grease or fluid lamp affixed with a brass symbol "P-X", a religious symbol. SIZE: varies.
