This lot consists of the following bayonets:
1) US M9 Bayonet. Blade marked "M9 PHROBIS III". Green handles. Green scabbard & frog present. CONDITION: good to very good with some service & usage wear.
2) US M1 Bayonet. Utica made M1 bayonet. No scabbard present. CONDITION: metal parts show scattered oxidation patches, edge wear & fading to gray. Handles show dings & wear.
3) US M6 Bayonet. Milpar marked crossguard. M8A1 scabbard made by PWH & canvas frog. CONDITON: fair with overall edge wear on blade, other metal areas being gray with some oxidation & varied other wear. Frog has black ink last name on back.
4) WW2 M1905 Bayonet. 1942 dated UFH M1905 bayonet. Flaming bomb marked scabbard. CONDITION: good overall with scattered light oxidation, wear & dried grease. Bayonet not locking in scabbard.
5) Remington M1917 Bayonet. 1917 dated bayonet with leather scabbard. CONDITION: metal shows overall fading & oxidation. Handles show some dings & handling wear. Scabbard is missing a few inches at tip & shows overall staining, crazing & age wear.
6) US M1 Bayonet. Made from an arsenal cutdown Springfield Armory M1905 bayonet. 1918 dated blade. Parkerized finish. Scabbard present. CONDITION: blade shows silvering along its length & some oxidation. Other metal parts show lighter edge wear & some oxidation. Grip panels show scattered wear. Metal parts of scabbard cleaned to bright with oxidation. Balance of scabbard shows scattered wear.
7) US M5 Bayonet. M5 bayonet made by Imperial. M8 BM Co scabbard with canvas frog. CONDITION: metal parts of bayonet show scattered edge wear & oxidation. Handles show scattered checkering wear. Frog & scabbard show scuffing, edge wear & scratches. (02-25616/MJC). $250-400.
