Lot of assorted Civil War era ammunition, including: 1) x1 Burnside carbine .54 caliber cartridge. 2) x1 Smith carbine .50 caliber cartridge with paper casing. 3) x1 rare Smith carbine .50 caliber cartridge with rubber casing. 4) x1 Gallager carbine .50 caliber cartridge with paper casing. 5) x1 Gallager carbine .50 caliber cartridge with brass casing. 6) x1 Starr carbine .54 caliber rimfire cartridge with brass casing. Underside is stamped "U". 7) x1 apparent Starr carbine .54 caliber cartridge with linen casing. Blue paper on underside of casing has torn, with powder being retained via plastic packaging. 8) x2 .32 caliber teat-fire cartridges as would have been used with the Moore Patent Teat-Fire revolver. CONDITION: cartridges are good, showing age related discoloration, with lead carbonate present on a few of the projectiles. (02-26579-7/MLW). AMMO. $200-400.
