Lot of assorted U.S. militaria, including: 1) 1 Joint Task Force One Atomic Bomb Test certificate presented to Lieutenant "Woody" Havens that reads "Lieutenant "Woody" Havens USN/ has participated in OPERATION CROSSROADS/ ordered by the Joint Chiefs of Staff to test the effect of the Atomic Bomb on naval vessels and conducted at Bikini Atoll, Marshall Islands./ USS ATA-124" above superior's signatures. Certificate is housed within a wood and glass frame. 2) x2 US Sixth Fleet Strike Force South 20th anniversary commemorative medallions. 3) x6 assorted ribbon bars. 4) x1 purple heart medal presented to Albert H. Mitchko. Medal is housed within an original black leatherette presentation case, which also contains an Underwood Typewriter Inc. "FOURTY NET WORDS" typing medal, Gold Star Lapel button, as well as 2 gold service stripes. 5) x1 U.S. Army of Occupation medal housed in original blue cardboard box with original end label. 6) x1 set of matching dog tags marked "ARCHIE C JOHNSON/ 37095876 T42 42 O/ IDA M. JOHNSON/ 1701 PAYNE AVE/ ST PAUL MINN P". 7) x2 U.S. 75mm trench art shells. Bright polished exteriors, both signed "MW" on the bases. 8) x1 11x8.5" silk sign marked "RETURNED FROM HELL" above the US and Japanese flags, a dragon, assorted Asian cities, as well as "INCHON" and "KOREA".
