This lot consists of the following items: 1. HE Leman Pennsylvania Percussion Rifle. Cal. 38. NSN. Bbl. 42" oct. Blade front sight. Fixed rear sight. Bbl. has Leman & Lancaster PA markings. Lock appears unmarked. Brass trigger guard. Double set triggers. Hardwood stock. Hardwood ramrod w/ two brass pipes. CONDITION: stock has extensive cracks through wrist extending into left stock flat. Stock otherwise shows a couple notable cracks at front of forend, a couple chips, scattered dings & handling wear. Metal is a gray patina w/ scattered oxidation & pitting. Pitted bore w/ worn rifling. 2. J. Henry Percussion Half Stock Trade Rifle. Cal. about .36. NSN. Bbl. 39" oct. Blade front sight. Fixed rear sight. Bbl. has faint J. Henry markings. Lock appears unmarked. Double set triggers. Half length hardwood stock. Stock has "US" marking behind trigger guard. Hardwood ramrod secured by two brass pipes. CONDITION: stock has extensive break through wrist that is flexing. Stock otherwise shows scattered dings & handling wear. Metal is mostly a gray patina w/ scattered oxidation & pitting. 3. Northwest Percussion Trade Musket. Cal. 62. NSN. Bbl. 36" part oct. part rnd. Round blade front sight. Rear of bbl. has British proofs. Rear lock is dated 1840. Hardwood stock w/ dragon shaped brass sideplate. No buttplate parts present. Hardwood ramrod secured by two pipes. CONDITION: stock has extensive break through wrist w/ crack extending into front stock bolt. Stock otherwise shows scattered cracks, chips, flaking varnish, dings & handling wear. Smootbore shows some scattered pitting. 4. HE Lancaster Percussion Trade Rifle. Cal. 38. NSN. Bbl. 44" oct. Blade front sight. Fixed rear sight. Bbl. has Leman markings. Lock markings are obscured & illegible by pitting & oxidation. Double set triggers. Hardwood stock w/ brass furniture. Bottom buttplate screw is missing. Hardwood ramrod secured by two brass pipes. CONDITION: stock is broken in two pieces at wrist & shows a large chipped area at toe. Stock otherwise shows long repaired cracks on both sides of forend, further cracks, chips, dings & handling wear. Brass trigger guard is separate from wood. Metal is mostly a dull gray patina w/ scattered oxidation & pitting. Dark pitted bore w/ faint rifling. 5. HE Leman Percussion Trade Rifle. Cal. 45. NSN. Bbl. 34" oct. Brass blade front sight. Fixed rear sight. Bbl. markings are faint due to oxidation. Lock has Leman markings. No hammer present & lock is loose. Hardwood stock w/ brass furniture. Hardwood ramrod secured by brass thimble & two pipes. CONDITION: stock has extensive break in wrist w/ several chipped pieces. Stock otherwise shows some further cracks, dings & handling wear. Metal is a dull gray patina w/ oxidation & pitting. Oxidized bore. 6. US Springfield 1884 Trapdoor Single Shot Rifle. Cal. 45-70. S# 372788. Bbl. 32 5/8". Blade front sight. Rifle Buffington rear sight graduated to 1400yds.Walnut stock. Ramrod present. CONDITION: stock has extensive break through wrist. Stock otherwise shows added varnish w/ a set of initials "HD" on left side of butt, a few smaller cracks, scattered dings & handling wear. Metal is turning gray w/ scattered oxidation & traces of arsenal blue. Pitted bore w/ worn rifling. 7. US Springfield 1870 Trapdoor Single Shot Rifle. Cal. 50-70. NSN. Bbl. 32 5/8". Blade front sight. Ladder rear sight graduated to 900yds. 1863 lock. Walnut stock. Replacement ramrod present. CONDITION: stock has extensive break at wrist. Stock otherwise shows some chipping, scattered dings & handling wear. Metal is turning gray w/ scattered oxidation, dings & some pitting. Bore shows scattered pitting but evident rifling. 8. WW2 M1 Garand Leather Scabbard. 1943 dated M1 Garand brown leather scabbard. Dated 1943 & marked "JOMD". Scabbard measures 30 1/2" in height.
