This lot consists of the following Tip Up Single Shot Stevens pistols all in Cal. 22 LR: 1. STEVENS DIAMOND NO. 43 FIRST ISSUE TIP UP SINGLE SHOT PISTOL. S# 21595. Bbl. 6". Combination front sight. Aperture rear sight. Mfg. 1886 to 1896. Hammer is not cocking when hand cycled. Blued bbl. Nickel frame. Smooth hardwood grips. CONDITION: left grip panel shows a chip on bottom of left panel, scattered staining & handling marks. Bbl. retains 20% blue w/ overall fading to gray, scattered oxidation & some pitting. Frame retains 70% nickel w/ scattered flaking & oxidation. Worn bore w/ scattered pitting. (01-25492/MJC). ANTIQUE. 2. STEVENS NO. 41 TIP UP SINGLE SHOT PISTOL. S# 68521. Bbl. 5" shortened. Replacement brass front sight. Replacement grooved rear sight marked ".015". Blued bbl. Nickel frame. Replacement smooth hardwood grips. CONDITION: grips show a few dings & scattered handling marks. Bbl. is mostly a dull gray patina w/ some dings & strong traces of blue. Backstrap shows some notable chipping nickel at rear, further scattered flaking, dings & oxidation. Bore shows a few patches of pitting but has evident rifling. (24-2283/MJC). CURIO. 3. STEVENS NO. 35 OFFHAND TIP UP SINGLE SHOT PISTOL. S# 28456. Bbl. 4 1/2" shortened. Bead front sight. No rear sight present & dovetail is vacant. Extractor is loose. Blued bbl. Nickel frame & trigger guard. Smooth hardwood grips. CONDITION: grips show scattered handling marks. Bbl. is turning to a gray patina w/ strong traces of bluing, scattered dings, edge wear & oxidation. Frame & trigger guard retain 85% nickel w/ scattered flaking, dings & oxidation. Worn pitted bore. (24-2292/MJC). CURIO. 4. STEVENS DIAMOND NO. 43 TIP UP SINGLE SHOT PISTOL. S# 41813. Bbl 6". Combination front sight. V-notch rear sight. Second issue Diamond No. 43 pistol mfg. 1896 to 1916. Blued bbl. Nickel frame. Smooth hardwood grips. CONDITION: grips have added finish w/ a few chips, scattered dings, scratches & handling wear. Bbl. is mostly a dull gray patina w/ scattered traces of blue, oxidation & some light pitting. Frame retains 90-92% nickel w/ a few dings, scattered flaking & oxidation.
