This lot consists of the following bayonets: 1) German 98/05 Bayonet. Butcher blade made in 1917. Blade is still in-the-white & was made by Weyserberg & Kirschbaum. Crossguard has 1920 Weimar stamp. Scabbard present with X'd out unit marking. CONDITION: blade turning dull with scattered oxidation & dried grease. Other metal parts of bayonet & scabbard are dull gray patina with oxidation & some notable pitting on pommel. Handles show some cracks, dings & scratches. 2) WW2 S84/98 Bayonet. No grip panels & scabbard present. Markings are illegible. CONDITION: blade appears sharpened & metal is an overall dull gray patina with oxidation & dings. 3) WW2 German 84/98 Bayonet. 1939 dated & made by Elite Diamant. Reapplied Chrome Finish. Matching scabbard present also with chrome finish. CONDITION: metal parts of bayonet & scabbard show light flaking, some oxidation & finished over pitting. Grip panels show some dings & handling wear. 4) German Dress Bayonet. Blade has E&F Horster markings. l Chrome finish. Crossguard & scabbard have same "PV PA31" unit markings likely for a police unit. Eagle pommel. Bone type grip panels. Leather body scabbard. CONDITION: metal parts of bayonet & scabbard show light flaking & oxidation. Handles show age wear. Scabbard is bent with crazing & joint separating. 5) WKC German Dress Bayonet. Chrome finish. Black finished scabbard present. CONDITION: metal parts of bayonet show scattered moderate flaking & oxidation. Handles show scattered dings & wear. Scabbard shows scattered flaking black paint & oxidation. 6) Siegfried Waffen Ernst Pack Dress Bayonet. Chrome finish. Scabbard present. CONDITION: metal parts of bayonet show scattered flaking, oxidation, & scratches. Handles show some paint staining & handling marks. Scabbard shows overall flaking paint with oxidation & some dents.
