MAGAZINES. Lot of Thompson submachine gun "L" drums and stick mags., including: 1) x2 Auto-Ordnance West Hurley Thompson 50-rd. "L" drum mags. Drums exhibit identical markings, consisting of "MAGAZINE TYPE "L"/ THOMPSON SUBMACHINE GUN/ 50 CARTRIDGES CAL. 45/ FOR 1928 MODEL WIND TO/ 9 OR 11 CLICKS" on the riveted front plates, with the Thompson trademark logo and "WIND TO 9 OR 11 CLICKS" on the cover plates, and "AUTO-ORDNANCE CORP./ NEW YORK/ REGISTERED IN THE/ U.S. PATENT OFFICE" on the riveted rear plates. Drums exhibit a blue finish overall. x1 drum is complete with its original factory cardboard box. 2) x8 30-rd. stick mags., including: x1 Auto Ordnance mfg. mag., x4 Crosby mags., and x3 Seymour Products Co. mags. 3) Kahr Arms Thompson manual with "3rd Hand" drum insertion / removal tool. CONDITION: drums are very good, exhibiting some light superficial handling marks, with each drum exhibiting a ding on the rear. One drum's ding is deeper than the other (though neither appear to effect serviceability) and exhibits a patch of light to mild surface oxidation. Stick mags. range from good to very good, exhibiting varying degrees of wear and scattered spots of light surface oxidation, but otherwise appear serviceable. (02-26573-5/MLW). NON-GUN. $700-1,100.
