Both locks have engraved game scenes. Checkered hardwood stock & forend. Brass tipped hardwood ramrod present. CONDITION: stock shows scattered handling marks & light flaking varnish. Bright parts show some light oxidation & dried grease. Bbls. retain 95% blue with a cleaned spot of pitting on right side, some edge & handling wear. Right hammer not holding at full cock & will require attention to fix. Left hammer appears to function properly. Good bores. (01-26095/MJC). 2) CVA HAWKEN PERCUSSION RIFLE. Cal. 50. S# 003946. Bbl. 28" oct. Brass blade front sight. Double set triggers. Adjustable square notch rear sight. Blued bbl. Case colored lock assembly. Brass furniture. Half-length hardwood stock. Brass tipped hardwood ramrod secured by two brass pipes. CONDITION: stock has added varnish with some handling marks & light flaking. Brass parts are turning to a dull yellow patina with some varnish overrun, light dings & tarnish. Lock assembly retains much of its case colors with some light oxidation. Blued parts retain 93% finish with some light dings, oxidation specks & edge wear. Action Functions properly when hand cycled. Very good bore. (01-26096/MJC). 3) TC BLACK DIAMOND RIFLE. Cal. 50. S# 19480. Bbl. 23 1/2" rnd. Fiber optic sights with adjustable rear. Fiber optic insert is missing from front. Weaver style scope bases present. In-line muzzleloader. Blued finish. Black synthetic pistol grip stock with bottom mounted sling studs & factory recoil pad. LOP: 13 7/8". Metal ramrod present. CONDITION: stock shows scattered handling marks & scuffs. Metal shows some scuffing & handling marks. Action functions properly when hand cycled. Bore shows scattered oxidation but strong rifling. PROVENANCE: Lifelong Collection of Bill Peterken.
