1. RUSSIAN MARKED GRAS 1874 BOLT ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 11mm Gras. S# 27724 . Bbl. 31". Blade front sight. Ladder rear sight graduated to 1900m. Matching numbers on bayonet lug & receiver. Other visible numbers are mismatched. Left side of receiver has Tulle arsenal & "M80" markings. Right of receiver has Russian Cyrillic letter. Bbl. top has "MADE IN FRANCE" import marking denoting this rifle was used first by the Russians in WW1 & later by Republican forces during the Spanish Civil War. Right side of bbl. has 1877 date. Walnut stock set w/ bottom mounted slings swivels. No cleaning rod present. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: French M1866 bayonet w/ mismatched scabbard in poor oxidized condition. CONDITION: stock set has heavily added varnish w/ scattered chipping, abrasions, dings, scratches & handling wear. Metal retains a strong amount of arsenal rework blue w/ scattered fading to gray, varnish overrun, oxidation & dings. Bore shows scattered oxidation & pitting but has strong rifling. (01-25559/MJC). 2. AUSTRIAN LORENZ PERCUSSION RIFLE. Cal. 58. NSN. Bbl. 37" rifled. Blade front sight. Ladder rear sight graduated to 900 yds. Austrian musket that appears rechambered to .58 for the American Civil War. Lock is marked "861". Sideplate & all three bands are marked "56". Action is functional when hand cycled. Hardwood stock w/ bottom mounted sling swivels. Tulip shaped ramrod present. CONDITION: stock has added finish w/ carved "R" on left side of butt, a few repaired cracks, scattered chips, dings & handling wear. Metal is mostly a gray patina w/ scattered dings, oxidation & pitting. Bore has worn rifling w/ a notable bulge near muzzle, scattered oxidation & pitting. (01-25367/MJC).
