1) Nagoya Last Ditch T99 Arisaka Bolt Action Rifle. Cal. 7.7 Jap. S# 7740. Bbl. 25 1/2". Blade front sight without ears. Fixed aperture rear sight. All matching numbers including firing pin. Left side of receiver has 11th series & Nagoya markings. Receiver top has ground mum. Some markings have added yellow highlight. Blued finish. Asian hardwood stock set with separate forend, left side sling swivels & canvas sling marked "ED WILSON" in black ink. CONDITION: stock set shows some light chipping, scattered dings, handling marks, finish loss & scratches. Metal shows overall fading to gray with strong traces of original blue, some edge wear, a few light dings, screw slot wear & scattered oxidation. Action functions properly when hand cycled. Very good plus bright bore. (25-5954/MJC).
2) Chinese Converted T38 Arisaka Bolt Action Rifle. Cal. 7.62x39. S# 50655. Bbl. 31 1/2" with Navy Arms import marking at rear. Blade front sight with protective ears. Ladder rear graduated to 2400m. Parts have mixed numbers. Rifle appears to be Chinese converted to 7.62x39 with shortened follower. Receiver ring has ground mum with added Chinese character. Left side of receiver has Kokura & 24th series marking. Metal has a matte gray appearance. Chinese replacement hardwood stock set with two-piece butt & rear sling swivel. Action screws, cleaning rod & front sling swivel all missing. CONDITION: stock set has a refinish appearance with a loose handguard fit, a couple light chips, some dings, handling marks & improper band removal wear. Metal has a matte gray appearance with a notable area of pitting on lower tang, scattered blued over pitting, light oxidation, handling marks & edge wear. Trigger & safety not functioning & will require attention to fix. Worn dark poor pitted bore. PROVENANCE: From the PMRB Collection. (25-5984/MJC). BOTH CURIO. $400-700 for lot.
